Cancelation, Payment and Liability Policy

By scheduling your lesson you agree to the following:

Breath and Bow Studio Liability, Payment and Cancelation Policy

Payment Policy: Payment is due at the time you schedule your lessons.  All payments are final. No refunds will be issued. By scheduling your lessons, you agree to make payments on time and as agreed upon based on the lesson package you are purchasing.

Cancelation policy:  By scheduling your lessons, you agree to keep those lesson times. All lessons must occur during the time frame agreed upon at time of scheduling and payment. If a situation arises where you cannot make your lesson, please follow a 48-hour cancelation policy. Please contact me by email at breathandbowstudio@gmail.com AND by phone or text at 802.793.5586.  (please note, I do not get cell reception at my house. So please always email communications as well as calling or texting)

Lessons canceled with less than 48-hour notice are forfeited. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis due to emergencies or sudden illness.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your lesson without communication, the lesson is forfeited.

*For students registered into a 12-week semester series: up to two lessons canceled 48 hours prior to the scheduled time can be made up during the designated make up weeks. Lessons cannot be made up after this time frame. If you are on a 12-week semester payment plan and miss more than two lessons, those lessons are forfeited.

**For students on a monthly payment plan: Following the 48-hour cancelation policy above, you can roll over a lesson ONE week into your next payment cycle.  If a lesson cannot be rescheduled within this time frame, the lesson is forfeited.

If you are concerned about any of the above and your ability to keep your scheduled lessons, scheduling single lessons is always an option. I offer a huge discount for those who register into a 12 week or monthly payment plan. Keeping the scheduling and cancelation policy above allows me to make this available to you.  For more info visit www.breathandbow.com/study.

Arrival Time:  Please arrive 5 minutes before the designated start time of your lesson to allow time to settle in and get instruments ready. Following the lesson, please allow a few minutes for a brief check in so there is clarity on what we worked on and what your child is expected to practice.

Liability Agreement: Emma Back, Breath and Bow, She Sings Out Loud, Vermont Violins and Monteverdi Music School are not liable for behavior or choices regarding practice, instrument care, or the success of your child on the instrument. We are devoted to the well-being of your child and empowering your child to feel excited and expressive in music, but are not responsible for any accidents or other concerns that occur during or after lesson time. You are responsible for the well-being of your child and must supervise your child prior to and following lessons.

If your lessons are outside of Vermont Violins business hours, use the back door to enter the office/storage room. You may wait in the office until the start time of your lessons. The shop is not to be entered outside of business hours except for use of the bathroom or water dispenser.

Children 12 and under must be an attended by their parent. If you need to drop your child off, please check in with me so I am aware that your child is on the studio premises.
